Salisbury Writers’ Festival 2014

What a big weekend of writing! An inspiring talk by Vikki Wakefield as Keynote Speaker on the opening night; a full-on Saturday with pitching to publishers, feedback via the First Page and lots of laughter during a creative writing session with Sean Williams, Amanda Blair and Dan McGuinness. Sunday was invaluable with a 6 hour masterclass on plot and voice with the absolute legend, John Marsden. Now it’s time to get writing…

Tour of Yorke Peninsula Schools (November 2013)

I had a wonderful time in November, visiting Kadina, Wallaroo, Yorketown, Warooka and Moonta primary schools to talk about Have A Go, Henry and writing in general. Some fun games and interesting discussions were shared. My son Luke was a fantastic assistant! Check out the photos on the School Visits page.

Visit to Yorke Peninsula schools

Looking forward to visiting primary schools in Kadina, Wallaroo, Moonta, Yorketown, Stansbury and Warooka next week 🙂
